About this item
U.S. Navy Fighters includes the F-14B, F-18D, F-22, and A-7 aircraft, as well as the Russian Su-33 Navy Flanker and the F-104 Starfighter. Four modes of play include 50 single campaign missions, a Tour of Duty, Quick Mission Builder, and a Pro Mission Builder. In campaign mode, you select planes, loadouts, targets, and waypoints for each mission. In addition to two mission builders, the game offers a fairly realistic flight simulation model, accurately modeled planes, and simplified avionics to lessen time required to learn each plane's control system in detail.
Extremist Russian nationalists want to reunify the former Soviet states. The Ukraine, now a U. S. ally, needs air support help from the carrier USS Dwight D Eisenhower. As one of the wing leaders on board, you lead your air wing against the best the Russian air force has to offer.
