EverQuest: Prophecy of Ro [PC Game]
Developed by: Sony Online Entertainment - Sony Online Entertainment (2006) - Persistent World Online RPG - Rated: Teen
Arguably the most influential "MMORPG" of all time, EverQuest extends its longevity once again with this powerful expansion pack
-- the 11th add-on released to retail since the game's original 1998 launch. Prophecy of Ro adds a number of practical new
features, as well as new quests, story elements, and game world lore.
Destructible terrain offers new impact in the game world, allowing players to smash down doors and pummel through walls,
leaving telltale signs of destruction in their wake. A new Buff Filter system lets players prioritize their favorite effects, and decide
for themselves which enhancements will be "auto-declined." Players also gain eight additional bank vault slots.
The expansion pack's narrative involves the return of the gods to Norrath, where they face a new threat to their existence. Some
new entity, unleashed by mortals, wields divine power yet seems unfettered by the normal rules of godhood. Its very existence
threatens the structure of the pantheon itself, and therefore, all of Norrath. As this force operates beyond the influence of the
gods themselves, it falls on mortals to stop it before it's too late.
From the Manufacturer: An expansion pack for the ever-building EverQuest, this entry features player-set traps, a new Spheres of
Influence system for transforming the world of Norrath by creating magical spheres of influence to thwart your enemies or aid
your allies, destructible objects, a new buff filtering system, and new missions, creatures and spells.
The gods have returned and the mortal realm shifts with their influence. But a new presence walks among the gods, a malevolent
force released into godhood by the follies of mortals. Unbound by the laws of the pantheon, it leaves corruption in its wake and
threatens to bring the entire pantheon crumbling down. The only hope for Norrath hangs on the very mortals who have unleashed
